What Should You Expect?
The Bold Beginners Internship Programme at IPG Health is meant to provide college students with the chance to learn about a future in healthcare communications. Interns are going to work in real-world business settings, attend seminars on many elements of the industry, and learn about how an agency operates.
Each week is carefully planned to ensure that our interns enjoy the most of their time here. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, week Fri are spent doing work in your allocated department, accompanied by a personalised mentor who will teach you the ropes. On Tuesdays, there are also lunch-and-learns where interns may network with top managers from each department. Thursday is set aside for teams to begin collaborating on the consumer project, which will be presented to our top managers at the finish line of the summer as a pitch.
Programme Specifics:
- Commencement date: Monday, June 10, 2024.
- Date of expiration: Friday, August 9, 2024.
- -time (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. EST).
- Pay: $18 per hour with overtime eligible.
Format: Fully distant or Hybrid (please express your option on your application). Please keep in mind that recruiting teams may have varying standards for totally remote or n-person expectations.
IT stands for information technology:
We do the following:We’re the ones that manage and maintain computers, software, networking, tablets, phones, touch screens, and lots more! We also work on technological initiatives such as machine learning, statistical analysis, and virtual or augmented reality.
You’ll do the following:
Renovations and Switch Replacements:
- Work with our facility partner and suppliers to define IT’s involvement in the project.
- Assist in the management of cables and the setting of switch ports.
- Assist the IPG Net Operations team with switch stack replacement.
Website Administration:
- Collaborate with the Integrated Production crew to clean and upgrade staging environments.
- Maintain the database in order to maintain our website inventory up to date.
- Participate in the establishment of website hosting for internal projects.
File Server Transfer:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of a large-scale file server transfer project.
- Get practical help with server preparation.
- Discover the security group administration system.
Ad hoc:
- Participate in the yearly chargeback operation for IT budget true-up.
- Participate in a table-top disaster recovery/business continuity management exercise.
We Are Looking For:
Education:
- An recognised college or university junior, older, or recent graduate.
- Coursework in IT, computer science, or a similar technological degree.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Excellent organisation.
- Capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in both PC as Mac environments.
- Knowledge of IT products such as TeamViewer, which Active Directory, Registration, AV,Cloud, Spyware prevention, and Azure is required.
Additional:
- The flexibility to work a hybrid schedule (3x per week in the NYC office) is desirable.
